MI 2014 Cable Scanner

Cable Scanner is easy to use LAN tester with wide variety of functions for fault finding and troubleshooting on IT cabling connections.

Measuring Functions

TDR facility with adjustable NVP allows determination of distance to the fault or cable length measurement. Acoustic generator combined with a receiver enables pair determination in multi-pair cables.

Quick and easy determination of various wiring failures:

crossed pairs,
crosstalk,
short-circuit,
mismatched pairs,
bad contacts,
no shield,
etc.

Other features

Part of a standard set are locators for fast and simple numeration of LAN sockets.
Optional remote unit S 2004 for communication over the tested cable and shorten test time.
Connectivity supports UTP, STP, ScTP, FTP and coax cables.
